An elevator pitch or elevator speech is a quick introduction of you and your business. It’s meant to be short enough to get it out in an elevator ride. The goal of your elevator pitch is to get the other person to want to learn more about your you and your business. You will use your elevator pitch a lot at networking events. As a real estate agent, you will attend a lot of networking events. The elevator pitch is one of the simplest yet powerful tools and real estate agent can have.
Follow this 5-Step process for crafting your elevator pitch:
Step 1: Define who you are
Step 2: Define what you do
Step 3: Identify your ideal clients
Step 4: Explain what’s unique and different about your business
Step 5: State what you want to happen next
