Back in the days before the Internet, it was very hard for real estate agents to get things done on the go. A transaction can take months before a deal would finally close.

The evolution of the Internet has broken things into pieces and made them just easy. With the right apps on your computer or phone, a deal could be handled quicker and more efficiently.

That’s why in this article, I’m going to recommend 10 important apps you cannot do without as a real estate agent.

10 Best Efficiency Apps For Real Estate Agents:

With these apps on either your phone, tablet, or computer, you won’t have trouble scaling your business to the moon. These apps help steer your business wheel efficiently and effortlessly.

They provide immense value for your clients, save your time, and paint you as a super professional Realtor. The most amazing thing is that you can get most of these apps for free.

Let’s not wait, here are the best 10 apps for real estate agents in no particular order.

1. Realtor Property Resource (RPR):

This is an app that proves very useful whenever a potential buyer or seller asks for a quick evaluation of a property.

Sometimes, the app comes close to giving an accurate valuation, and sometimes it misses by just a little, especially in this market.

The mobile app is always useful for me. Whenever a client asks for the value of a property, I often whip out my phone and run a quick CMA right there on RPR. But if they seek more information, that’s when a more comprehensive CMA would be ideal.

Another thing the app does is that it makes you look super professional in the presence of your clients.

It gives you more power to stay on top of any situation that you find yourself in regarding evaluating whatever property they are looking to sell or purchase.

It also gives key reports like market activity reports, neighborhood reports, school reports, mini property reports, and a specific valuation workbook.

2. 1Password

Before I came across 1Password, I was always having trouble remembering my login details to various websites and apps. This app has helped eliminate the stress of putting pressure on my brain.

As a Realtor, the app will help secure and save all your passwords in the cloud. And it’s not only your passwords, it helps secure your credit card details, notes, software licenses, and other important information you’d like to keep secret.

Also, with your computer at home, 1Password effortlessly syncs all your security information to the app on your mobile device.

1Password also suggests randomized strong passwords and is against just using a password for multiple sites. This can protect you against compromised passwords or identity theft.

3. Zoom

One of the things this app has put a stop to for me and my team is the physical urgent meeting we would always need to have. It doesn’t matter where you are, you can connect with your team or members without stress.

Sometimes, my first point of contact with a potential client is always through Zoom. This saves me a lot of movement.

With Zoom, I could share documents like RPR data, receipts, payments calculations, and all sorts of data with my mobile phone.

There are other alternatives to Zoom regarding video calling which I’m not against, but Zoom has given me everything I want in a video app I seek. I’m sure you won’t regret doing the same.

4. Waze

One of the things we do a lot as real agents is that we are always on the move. For that reason, it’s very important that we have a guide that gives us directions to wherever we go.

Sometimes our job takes us to some neighborhoods we’ve never been to before. In such an instance, for easy acceleration, one needs an accurate map to serve as that guide we need, and in Waze I always find solutions.

Waze is a must-have app for Realtors on their mobile phones. It really helps driving a lot with its clear-cut map and directions.

While on the road, the app can alert you on shortcuts and live traffic updates so you are well updated with the traffic situation around you.

Time management is the most essential thing for us agents. Without proper management of time, agents will only get little done and much left undone.

Before now, my clients and I were always going back and forth pinpointing the perfect time to meet for listing appointments and showings. My calendar always doesn’t sync with theirs.

Not until I started using Calendly for my time management. It has really been a complete game-changer for me.

With Calendly, all I do is send out a link to my clients and have them book the perfect time that resonates, not only with their schedule but with mine too.

You can instantly install the app on your phone and get going with it. It’s also web-based by running it on your computer. You just have to integrate whatever calendar option you prefer on it be it Google calendar Apple, Outlook, or other options.

After scheduling your daily activities properly on the app, it shows what time you’d be available to your clients. Your clients can get to choose whatever time or hours you’ve allotted for that day. It also gives a notification anytime you have looming appointments.

All in all, Calendly is a great app to have on your phone as it helps you manage your time effectively.

Just pick up my phone or iPad, shuffle through the app and you get all your transactions and budgets in one piece. It’s available on both iOs and Android.

This is also perfect for separating what’s a business expense and what’s a personal expense. While you’re on the go, you can upload receipts to make it super easy for tax time.

There are lots of CRM’s out there, but not everyone has a mobile app to its name. Even though I work on my computer daily, I often do more activities on my phone because I get it done quicker and faster.

That’s why I made sure I found a CRM backed up with a mobile app which is KvCORE.

The KvCORE app gives me the leverage to make notes about my clients, and at the same time make phone calls directly to my contacts.

Also with KvCORE, I’ve integrated all my contacts for easy sorting. I usually sort by status, so I can know my current clients, under contracts, and also my active leads. Also, sending listings to prospects just got easier and better.
