It’s the subject of ways to ruin your real estate career. I thought about it for a little bit and came up with these top 5 ways you can ruin your career. If you do the opposite of these, you should be fine.
Number one is pretending to be someone you’re not. People want to trust you and once that trust is broken, it’s hard to gain it back.
Number two is not keeping your word. If you say you’re going to do something, no matter how big or small it is, always keep your word. Do what you say you’re going to do.
Numero tres is exploiting your clients. There’s a difference in marketing to get business and flat out exploiting your clients. Know at the end of the day, if you have no clients then you have no business. Don’t make everything about you.
Number four is bad publicity. The saying any publicity is good publicity is not true. Think before you act.
Lastly, number five is not staying relevant. You must stay on top of things. Stay relevant to trends, marketing, sales, clients, etc.
If you follow these tips, you can expect to have a long lasting real estate career. If you choose to do the opposite, you’re on your way out before you even get in.
